Virginia ABC needs your help in collecting data on K-12 substance use prevention efforts!

In order to identify current K-12 substance use prevention efforts, Virginia ABC will be conducting a statewide needs assessment. This needs assessment will include K-12 staff, school division staff, parents and community substance use prevention professionals. We will use the data collected to determine how we can continue to effectively support youth substance use prevention efforts and make a lasting impact across the Commonwealth.

This needs assessment will include two opportunities for input: the electronic survey included at the link below, as well as through focus groups. There will be an opportunity to share interest in participating in a focus group in the survey.

We ask that you share this needs assessment survey with K-12 staff, parents and community substance use prevention professionals (such as yourself) through the following link:https://mailchi.mp/0a9d5d333568/your-input-needed-on-youth-substance-use-prevention-efforts. The survey will close on February 28.

Thank you to all of our partners who have shared this information out already, we appreciate your assistance with this data collection effort.
