We’re excited to announce that teen Mental Health First Aid (tMHFA) is available nationally!
tMHFA is a program that teaches high school students in grades 10-12 how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders among their friends. After a successful pilot program in the 2019-2020 school year, we’re ready to bring the program to you.
To get you started, the National Council for Behavioral Health is offering an informational webinar where you can learn about the unique requirements to bring tMHFA to your young people. You’ll also hear from a few pilot sites about how they’ve implemented tMHFA. You won’t want to miss this!
Choose from two time slots to learn about this program, have your questions answered, and find out your next steps for becoming a part of the teen Mental Health First Aid movement.
