Suicide is the tenth leading cause of death in this country. It touches millions of lives—people of all ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds—but the research is clear: suicide is preventable, and the more people who stand up for suicide prevention and mental health, the more lives we can save. Join us on Wednesday, September 27th at 5:00pm on the campus of Virginia State University-Foster Hall, for our 2nd Annual Suicide Prevention Awareness Walk. This yearly event is sponsored by the District 19 CSB Suicide Prevention Planning Committee and the VSU Active Minds Chapter as an effort to raise awareness and promote services forsuicideawarenesswalk flyer201712
